FAQ
Q: WHY SHOULD I GET A HOME INSPECTION?
A: If you have recently purchased a newly constructed home from almost any builder in the area, your home has come with a one year builder warranty and a minimum eight year structural warranty. It is imperative that you notify the builder of any defects in the workmanship or functioning of all components of your home within the first year after your closing. If you fail to notify the builder of a problem in your home, it will become YOUR problem. Since many problems are not obvious to homeowners, hiring a trained professional is highly recommended.
Home inspections are also worthwhile if you are in the process of purchasing an existing home. Our findings have helped purchasers get reduced prices on their homes and have alerted home buyers to potentially costly issues.
Q: WHAT ITEMS ARE COVERED IN MY INSPECTION?
A: A thorough inspection includes, but is not limited to Exterior Stucco & Siding, Structural Components inc. Foundation, Concrete areas, Roof, Truss System, Insulation, Heat & Air System, Electrical, Plumbing, Interior, Appliances, Air Leaks, Carbon Monoxide, Moisture & much more.
A: Professional Home Inspections, Inc. bases their inspection pricing on the size of your home. The larger the home, the more time we spend doing a thorough inspection. Our past clients will tell you that the price of the inspection is well worth the money saved in future repairs to your home. Simple service calls to your home for a minor item such as a faulty GFI outlet can cost hundreds of dollars. Major repairs can cost thousands.
